Lots of Slop |

The rear hitch weldment is very sturdy and seems to be well made, however, there is a lot of extra slop between the receiver tube and hitch. Inside of the receiver measures 2-1/8" square for 2" square hitch. I was surprised at how much movement there was between the receiver and hitch. I have towed sailboats my whole life and never had a hitch with this much slop in it. I would have expected a little bit tighter tolerance on this. The major downside is that the hitch rattles like crazy if left on. I will just have to fix this by either using shim plates or installing an anti-rattle clamp. It also would have been nice if a couple flat washers would have been provided to avoid the bolt heads digging into the weldment when tightening them down.
